Another iteration in my “Goddess” series of bead embroidery jewellery.  “Desert Mesa” contains lovely earthy colours that are so reminiscent of parts of the Australian outback; particularly in South Australia where we used to live.  The central focal cabochon is a striking semi precious Picture Jasper with beautifully creamy and earthy colourways throughout.  The bottom left of this unique cabochon reminds me of a clump of dried grasses.  There are a variety of semi precious stones in this piece including Turquoise, Carnelian, Golden Sandstone and Leopardskin Jasper.
