The latest iteration of my “Goddess” series of jewellery for the discerning wearer.  A combination of earth and water in this unique design.  Semi precious Chrysocolla, Brown Agate, Carnelian, Mountain Jade, Mosaic Turquoise and Lemon Jade dominates this design.  The necklace arms also contain quality Czech aged Picasso coat beads in rustic finish and two faux Turquoise barrel beads in a colour that compliments the large Mountain Jade cabochon beautifully.  The design is hand embroidered – nothing is stuck down, except the cabochons in the initial placement of the design.  Everything else is hand sewn. There is also bead embroidery edging and bead weaving around the cabochons.  The bead weaving utilises tiny Czech beads that took forever to complete.  The backing is expensive and soft Ultrasuede which feels good against the skin.  The toggle is very easy to use.

PENDANT:   Approximately 6 centimetres across and 10 centimetres down (excluding the bead woven bail)

EARRINGS:  Approximately 4.2 centimetre drop

Another recent addition to my bead embroidery passion in the jewellery line.  “Atoll” took quite some time to design and manufacture because there are no patterns in my work, only dreams and concepts I turn into reality.  “Atoll” contains Sea Sediment Jasper and Sesame Jasper semi precious cabochons as the main focals.  A lot of rondelles and Czech seed beads complete this one of a kind design.  A real pleasure to design and create but, as always, this represents 9 days of work for me.

As a member of the Australian Society of Marine Artists, I always enjoy translating my love of the ocean and shore into wearable art.  A unique design from me to you.

A real design challenge for me but well worth the many hours I spent in creating this unique piece of wearable art.

You will not see another necklace like this as I only make one of a kind designs in my workroom.  Recently exhibited at my last solo exhibition in November.  This piece is now commission free.
