Uniquely designed and created purple and pink tone bead embroidery and bead woven brooch.  This is another dual purpose piece I created.  You can wear this as a brooch or slip a necklace chain through the special mechanism at the back of the brooch and turn this into a pendant.  The brooch contains a large elliptical shaped purple cut glass faceted cabochon that catches the light.  There are also matching 1950’s German acrylic vintage cabochons on the wings.  The design also contains Czech fire polished beads, Czech Superduos, Czech flower coin beads, Czech seed beads and a beautifully faceted crystal heart.
This brooch measures approximately 6.8 centimeters across and 8 centimeters down (including the antennae).  A lovely original design.  I am happy to see that brooches are returning to the spotlight.  I think brooches are an excellent “icing on the cake” in terms of bringing a piece of clothing (and the wearer) into prominence.
