DESERT BROOCH
A lovely, desert style brooch. The central cabochon is a lovely rich red magnesite cabochon that is patterned with muted veining. the magnesite cabochon is captured with freshwater pearls and copper toned Czech seed beads. I have included an antique African disk bead, a shell bead and a landscape jasper rondelle. The blue seed beads seen wending through this brooch represent the arrival of the first rains to break the inland drought. Tne brooch is finished off with a a row of ever so tiny bronze toned seed beads.
This lovely brooch measures approximately 5.5 centimeters by 4.7 centimeters. As with several of my designs, you can wear this brooch any way you like as the design is versatile.
